Common sense and biological truth leads to preborn personhood
Trump order acknowledges personhood at conception

The identity of a person at conception is the central definition at the heart of a groundbreaking new federal policy for the United States of America. On the day of his second inauguration, President Donald J. Trump issued an executive order which hinged on the definition of the words “male” and “female.”
(d) “Female” means a person belonging, at conception, to the sex that produces the large reproductive cell.
(e) “Male” means a person belonging, at conception, to the sex that produces the small reproductive cell.
The order, entitled “Defending Women from Gender Ideology Extremism and Restoring Biological Truth to the Federal Government,” is a key element of Trump’s “revolution of common sense.”
From the very beginning of our nation, the common sense of the initial identity of every person has been essential to who we are as a nation.
The Declaration of Independence says “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights….” Just as the identity of “male” and “female” is self-evident, the fact that each person’s identity is established at conception is also self-evident.
Those who follow the path of common sense and biological truth will necessarily see that our personhood begins at the beginning. According to the proposed Life Amendment, a person is a “living human being from the beginning of its biological existence as a human organism.”
The path of common sense and biological truth — if we persevere — will lead our nation to the Life Amendment. Without even mentioning the word “abortion,” every preborn person will be protected by our existing laws which already protect every born person.
